Generally speaking, most Level 1 and Level 2 holsters are compatible for use with a Glock handgun equipped with a Chambermax TA-1.  Level 1 holsters are those we consider to have no mechanical retention mechanism in the holster that locks to the gun, whereas Level 2 is those with at least one mechanical retention mechanism.  Certain duty holsters with Level 3 retention and greater, typically those with a backstrap that covers the back or slide end of the Glock and/or have a sentry release mechanism, may need adjustments performed to the holster to accept a TA-1 equipped Glock.

In all circumstances, it is the YOU, the end user, that is responsible for testing your particular holster to ensure that the weapon draws and re-holsters without interference from the TA-1 to the holster.

We know that many holsters from Blackhawk, 5.11, Safariland, and Fobus that are made for sport shooters and concealed carry permit holsters are excellent choices.

All products manufactured by Chambermax, including the TA-1, are extensively lab and field tested in real-world conditions.  Our proprietary tests are conducted from sub-zero temperatures to the desert heat and cycled for thousands of rounds.  If we’re not confident in our design’s ability to function as intended…we don’t release it to market.

At this time we only accommodate Glock, but accessories are in development for other pistol manufacturers.

Any certified armorer or qualified gunsmith that is familiar with the servicing of Glock handguns can install your TA-1.  Normally, any reputable Glock reseller can perform the installation.  We always recommend that any firearm with a Chambermax installed accessory be function checked by a certified armorer or qualified gunsmith.

Chambermax currently offers flat-rate United Stated Postal Service Priority Mail shipping. Most packages hit their destination in the United States between 2-4 days. Packages are issued a tracking number so that we can attempt to verify delivery if needed. Orders placed Monday through Thursday generally ship the following day, with orders placed on Friday shipping the following Monday. In most instances, you will receive an “Order Complete” e-mail with USPS tracking information back to your original order e-mail. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to become active with the postal service. Unfortunately, we cannot dictate delivery instructions for your packages such as “leave by the back door” so please have us ship to a safe, valid address.

If you are not 100% satisfied with a Chambermax product you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping charges for up to 30 days after the date of original sale.  Any product you return must be in like new condition and have the original packaging. You will need a return merchandise authorization number before you send it back, so please contact us at customerservice@chambermax.us within 15 days of your original purchase date to begin the process.

If any product manufactured by Chambermax fails due to workmanship or material defect we will repair or replace, at our option, for a period of 6 months beyond the original purchase date.  Your proof of purchase may be required.  Please save a copy of your original invoice.

Any refunds issued will be back to the same card or method that you used for the original purchase and the time it takes to receive the refund will depend in part on your specific card issuer’s policies. 

Like sky diving, rock climbing and motor racing, the handling of firearms involves a certain amount of unavoidable risk.  Minimizing the risk is the job of the shooter.  If you are not the type of person that can accept the responsibility of your own actions, guns are not for you.

The use of any accessories or modifications may void any warranty from the manufacturer of your firearm. We strongly recommend that the safety and function of your modified firearms be checked by a qualified armorer or gunsmith.

No liability is expressed or implied for damage, injury, or death resulting from the improper use or misuse of any Chambermax accessory or component, or firearms modified using Chambermax products.

Remember the four commandments of firearms safety:

  1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
  2. Never sweep yourself or anyone else with the muzzle; don’t point your gun at anything you don’t intend to destroy.
  3. Never place your finger in the trigger guard until you’re ready to fire.
  4. Be sure that your backstop is safe.
